A Look at the Coaching Staff Behind the Italian Star
Jannik Sinner has been guided by compatriot Simone Vagnozzi in the past two years after the former tennis pro came on board in 2022 following the departure of Andrea Volpini. Vagnozzi, a former top-100 player, has been credited with helping Sinner improve his all-court game and become a more consistent performer. Under Vagnozzi's guidance, Sinner has won four ATP Tour titles and reached the quarterfinals of the French Open and Wimbledon.
In addition to Vagnozzi, Sinner has also been working with Darren Cahill, a renowned tennis coach who has previously worked with Andre Agassi, Lleyton Hewitt, and Simona Halep.
